RetroFuture: inspired by the layering and aggressive lines of retro basketball sneakers as well as the parametric and futuristic look of todays Architecture Retrofuture is a mule to be worn off court while traveling in between hoop sessions, on flights on casually around the house.
Moodboard
To begin I sketched with the concept of exploring shapes of futuristic architecure. Then I prompted Vizcom to produce retro basketball inspired versions of my sketches.
After my initial exploration I drew concepts more refined but still rough and prompted Vizcom to create dozens of concept variations.
With my goal of having a futuristic aesthetic I narrowed down to concepts that I believed best represented this visually. Then I chose different concepts and interated further in Vizcom by combing these concepts together.
I then prompted to  have the shoe look 3d printed and added mesh textures
Using the view cube in Vizcom I created orthographic views and a 3D model sample that can be 3D printed or exported to Blender
Finally I was able to create product visualizations in Vizcom or various colorways as well as product on display shelfs, on model and a short video of the product being worn.
